Rovaniemi Boys House

Rovaniemen Poikien Talo (Rovaniemi Boys House) will offer boys and men between ages of 12 -29, support and activities. We also take diversity of gender into account in our House. Support and activities are planned and based on needs and backgrounds of visitors. We support young people who need positive encouragement, support for life’s challenges and meaningful, safe environment. You can get support from individual meetings, open community activities, workshops or, for example hobby groups.

Open community activity

Open activity means a form of activity that you can join without prior registration and spend your time as you wish. Evenings of open activities include, for example, playing games, drinking coffee, chatting or just being at the House. You decide how long you want to stay at the open evenings. During the open evenings, visitors’ wishes regarding the activities are collected, and joint activities are planned together. You can find the opening times in the calendar.

Group activity

Group activity means professionally guided groups that are formed according to the needs and interests of the visitors. Groups can be set up for specific age groups and around specific themes. You can get information about upcoming groups from the employees, or from Poikien Talo’s social media.

Individual work

In individual work, we offer low-threshold conversation support. Appointments for individual work can be booked by contacting employees by phone, email or face-to-face.
